NEED HELP 1999 ml320
I have a 1999 ml320 that i got a year ago. It has run good with no problems until now. I was driving it today and when I came to a stop it shutter like it was going to die but didn't die. It bogged out almost like it was a standard without pushing the clutch in, but it's not a standard! I came to a stop and it was idle but still running. Once the light turned and I hit the gas it hesitated for a second but then hit gear really hard and engaged long enough for me to pull into a parking lot. Once stopped again it wouldn't catch any gears at all. After sitting there long enough to cool off, it started and I put it into gear. At first it didn't engage at all but reving it to 2000 rpm it popped into reverse. I then put it immediately into drive an it transitioned smoothly and I drive it onto a trailer. Does this mean my transmission went out or could it be something else?
