Tune up recommendations

Hello all, I'm looking to do a tune up on my 01 ML320. I'm looking to replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, and cabin air filter. Am I missing anything? What spark plugs should I get?

I'm also going to replace the battery and the thermostat and do a coolant flush. Which coolant should I use?

Any other recommendations?

M/B used NGK, Bosch & Beru for OE plugs. Use the NGK.

You will also need the boot removal tool. Also buy a small package of dielectric grease to lubricate the boots of the park plug wires.

17mm long open end wrench worked fine to remove the spark plug boots

Yup just use it as a lever and the valve cover as the fulcrum. Give the boots a slight twist first to break loose the seal formed on the plug ceramic and the boot.
