electric noise with heat

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
electric noise with heat
on ym 2004 ml500 when i turn on the heat there is a noise emitted...sounds electrical. as soon as i turn the heat off, it disappears. anyone else have it? trying to figure out if it is normal.

Went to Mercs this AM and described the problem with the fan. The guy seemed to know exactly what I was on about. The car is booked in for next week, so I will see what they do to sort the problem. Will let you know.

Well just got my beauty back from MB. I reported the noise to them and they have changed the air pump. The pump costs around 180 swiss francs- free for me under warranty. Hope this will stop the noise!!
