We parked at our destination last and it would not start again, it won't even crank over. The remote also will not lock or unlock. The headlights and wipers work but nothing else does (windows, locks, radio, etc)
The battery is less than than a year old some I'm guessing that's not the problem. I've researched the crank sensor but it seems like the car will still turn over when that is broken. I'm thinking the ignition switch may be bad.
Please help. I'd like to keep this car so I'm hoping its a semi-cheap fix.
Thanks, Marty

The Crankshaft Pos. Sensor has nothing to do with cranking the eng. It's only function is to start the eng. after/while cranking.
Open the hood and check the voltage at the battery.
