Hi I am replacing my abs motor on my 1998 ml320. I was expecting to remove the motor directly off the pump but when I got in down in there, there wasn't any torx screws next to the motor. Is the 1998 one unit? I hope not because I have a guy in Santa Ana, CA who will rebuild the motor. I also don't want to take out the entire pump if I don't have to. If it cannot be removed separately can I replace the entire pump with a later year that does separate? The reason is I don't want to put one in that is used and has worn brushes etc... Thanks for your help with this.
