Where is the heat

I have no heat. The air blows in the vehicle (which is a 2002 ml500) and it's only cold air. I change the temperature control to high as it goes but still.....no heat! Where is the vent doors located and what do I need to do to check and fix my problem. I'm glad I'm not up north (I'm in Augusta, Georgia) because if I had to ride to work in my suv in northern weather, i'll freeze to death. Please someone help me out.

Remove the glove box. Place the temp. dial to the coldest setting, and turn the key to pos. #2. Then turn the dial to the extreme heat position and see if the Blend Door Motor slowly moves to the heat position.

Also check the Coolant Circulation Pump. Turn the key to pos. #2 and feel the pump to see if it is working.

If not, remove the elec. connector and test the WHITE wire for 12v and the BROWN wire for ground.
