If I rev up my ML430 in neutral, it stuters or putts (for lack of a better phrase) and hesitates, but drives normally in traffic. Has anyone experienced this hesitation at high acceleration while parked?

on MB's with auto's, there's a rev limiter to prevent damage to the tranny and engine so that when you try and rev it high, it will not go pass 4000-4200RPM's...that's the max it can rev. When you hit the rev limiter, it will feel like hesitation.....i'm assuming this is what your experiencing.
