License plate removal W163 1999 ML430
The screws are stuck in some kind of insert and they are either rusted or is there a special way to get your tags off. I have removed the inside panel so I have access. The screws won't budge with a wrench on back.....

Here is something that might help. Whatever repair you do make sure that the new bolts are treated with copper never seize.
