car Phone ML320 '98
I have just purchased a complete telephone kit for my ML320 , 1998 model ( PSE, Cradle, tImeport, Cable, etc..)
I have a OEM MCS navigation DVD system already installed and working perfectly, also I have the dual band antenna and splitters.
My problem is this :
All plugs coming from the harness that goes to the PSE are connected and have matching connectors except for one plug that is a 3 pin connector coming from the PSE and is supposed to be connected to another matching plug on the MCS end. But I do not have any matching connector to go in this plug.
I was able to figure out the Job of each pin they are : + positive Pin , - Negative Pin , and Wake Pin for the D2B fiber optic link.
Can any one tell me where this pin goes on the MCS side , and all I have to do is connect the + positive and - Negative .
One more question : after completing the installation of the telephone kit , do I have to version code the MCS to recognise the telephone installed or it should detect it automatically ?

I am not sure what MCS model I have , but it has a dvd not disk and it has a Fiber Optic plug at the back , dont tell me all models have these !!!!
With the pin layout you sent to me there is no D2B wake pin connection , do you know if that pin has a different name ? or may be it can be connected to a different pin
All the help I get will be appreciated
Thanks
