Hi all. There are five pick-n-pulls within a 75 mile radius of me and they are filled with ML320s and ML430s. I've replaced lots of broken parts on my car (fender covers, right side mirror, cup holder, roof racks, chrome MB door strips, to name a few) but I'm hoping to swap out all the seats. Mine are an ugly grey and they are showing their age, and I would like black seats. I'm wondering if it's a simple swap. I've noticed that the rear seats in the new W163's are slightly different, but I'm not sure if the bolt pattern on the floor was changed or not. If anyone has information it would greatly appreciated.

I do not think the bolt patterns are the same and the contour of the floor might be different.

Darn, but thank you. I kind of suspected that, as the newer seats seem to be a big improvement. I guess I'll go to plan B, which is finding donor seats that have good foam and replacing it. The front heated seats are going to be tough.
