Love/Hate
I really love the ML...awsome power, 4wheel drive, awsome in snow and big.
but god the paint job and body are horrible. I admit that our ML has had very little trouble...fuel sender and some plastic parts interior are about it.
while filling up, i noticed that the rear right door was bubbling already
and that inside the door jamns were rusting as well
what gives? is the metal different than my w202? the only places my 202 is bubbling/rusting that I know about are under the front door rocker panels and minimal at that.
what is MB's rust warranty on the vehicles?
thanks guys.

Hey GDawg....I think you and I share alot of the same feelings about the ML.
I think we both feel this "SUV" is great in the winter...nothing better in my opinion. We also feel like this isn't the same as a MB car. When you drive it, you know its a truck....this isn't an SL55 here....but it still has that mercedes "feel" to it. I feel very powerful when I'm behind the wheel.
I know this truck gets alot of negative attention here in these forums, but hey, thats the best place for that kind of attention. Where else can you vent about crap like your fuel gauge not telling you how much fuel is in the tank.
I will have to check my ML430 for bubbles or rust...I hope the metal can last as long as I want it to. I plan on keeping this truck until the very end of its life. I just hope that's later and not sooner!!
GDawg...what do you think...are we on the same page here?

We're definately on the same page here ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Our family is planning to keep the car till it quits as well (lets see which will last longer, the body or the engine :p my bet is on the engine, lol)
Yeah, check for bubbling around the car, i've only found one spot so far. Hopefully no more.
Only a few negatives about our ML from me
IMO, awsome SUV all around, minus the plastics
