While driving occasionally the BAS/ESP light will come of, however at the same time it make a horrible sound on the drivers side and can feel a vibration as well it sound as though it is running out of gas and the triangle will illuminate that there is an engine problem. Nobody can seem to figure it out, and I really don't want to pay $180 to have it diagnosed if it is something that is know to be a problem

Make sure all tires are the same and all inflated the same!

The triangle is lighting up because you have a traction/brake problem.

Are there any other lights coming on?

What kind of noise are you hearing?
