New ML 350 - "Loose Sterring"

Per MB service, my new 2004 ML 350 steering is normal. However, it appears to me that the steering wheel is extremely "loose" and vague when driving in normal surface conditions. Actually, the loaner car (ML 350 -2004) from the dealership had a much "tighter" steering feel with considerably less movement when driving.

Again, per the MB service folks, the steering is normal. Can anything be done with the steering based on the info above? Or, was the loaner car steering an anomaly?

Thanks

Hi HJB123

Not sure of any known problems with the steering, but perhaps compare the make of tires/size/air pressure between yours and the loner from the Mb dealer. Different sizes/pressures may make the handling seem different.
