I have a 2003 Mercedes ML320. I used to have a dipstick tool to check the transmission fluid level with. It seemed to work pretty well. I moved a few years ago and for the life of me can't find it. I bought a dipstick tool on eBay and I don't like it. I have trouble reading the correct level and determing when the tool has bottomed out in the pan. Does anyone have any recommendations as to a good dipstick tool? For a 2003 ML320, what length dipstick should I get? I was leaning toward a Dorman, but I've read both good and bad reviews. Thanks in advance!

Try this one. Insert the dipstick in by inch until you hit bottom. There will be 8" or so left over but that's the way it should be.
