Front wiper does not go back to deafult position

Front wiper does not go back to deafult position
have a mb ml 55 amg year 2003 that my wiper does not go back to default position anymore but works in low speed and high speed but have to stop it manually to get it in correct position.
Have not tried the rain sensor but when I push the switch to auto( rain sensor mode) nothing happens. Any ideas?

So to make it more clear. Wiper does not go back to default position in low or high speed but still works fine. and in intermit position it not moving at all. Sorry for the confusing.
