Starting on second try
Start on first try may be prolonged or won't start at all. Second try starts right up. Runs like a top once started. I'm thinking it may be either the fuel filter or fuel pump. Any thoughts?

If the CEL is not illuminated, then it is probably a fuel issue. Start by purchasing a Fuel Pressure Gauge and attach it to the fuel rail. Then turn the key to pos. #2 and note the fuel pressure reading.
