Flickering hi/ lo beam while driving

while driving and when I turn on the lights, in any position, they randomly flicker between high and low beams and usually stop and are stuck on high. I fiddle with the light stem (flicking between high and low) and finally can get them to go onto low. They will stay like this for quite a while until I use the turn signal or flick to high beam. Fog lights stay on sometimes when I turn the car off. The lights are original to the car.

How does this involve flickering lights? Is this some sort of a reset?

Hi,

Yes we got it fixed, it was the master control, about 4 thousand dollar fix. Car runs like new now.

Hi,

The unit is actually called the All Activities Module or AAM. We replaced that and the problem was fixed.

Gayle, if you fiddled with the light stalk and everything went back to normal, most of the time, then it cannot be the AAM.

The light switch was at fault and should have been replaced. The dealer took you for a 4k ride.
