Be more specific. What kind of noise, where does it seem to come from,
intermittend or continous, etc, etc. The ML has a symphony of "noises" at startup, during warm-up, cold idle, driving at steady state, warm idle, and when engine is shut down. fans, fluids and other things are constantly being operated to maintain the vehicle. Specific please!!!

Okay......I'll post this here in case it's relative to discussion.
Recently had some Squeaking noise. I had someone rock the vehicle while I crawled underneath.
Finally narrowed it down to the left rear spring/shock area. Cleaned around the springs a used a Spray lubicant all over the place.
NO luck.
Took into the Dealer and had the service manager listen to it.
He knew right away........It was the Rear Shocks!
Replaced under Warranty. They're not Cheap!
Noise is gone!
