mdstran,

my trip computer has been on the fritz for
about 2 years now. it seems to lose any
info i store in it. i talked to my service
department and they seem to be able to
fix it temporarily. in the end i just said to
hell with it. :p i don't really care what day
and year it is anyway!
that has been the only recurring
problem i have had with my ML.

Over the years there have been several "new" trip computers made to eliminate numerous problems with both the actual trip computer and the alarm system. I had several replaced on my 98 when I had it and recently had one replaced on my 02. Seems to be fine now, hope it stays that way
