Bleeding brakes
I am going to do my first brake/rotor change on the the ole '99 ML 430. Has anyone bled the brakes themselves? Is it a difficult procedure? I would really like to put in fresh brake fluid while I'm changing the front brakes. Thanks.

Has anyone purchased one of these blake bleeding pump/tools? If the cost is $100 or less I'll buy it and try doing it myself.

I watched them do it last week. Didn't look too hard, but you need someone to pump the brakes while someone bleeds each brake. It was $50 for labor at a garage and I provided the $21 Mercedes brake fluid. DOT 4 PLUS (DOT 4/DOT 3). If you do something really wrong, the ABS warning should light up.
