Low Range light flashing...

Guys, I have a 2002 ML320 and I'm having a problem. When I turn my car on, all the warning lights come on, this is normal, however, the Low Range light comes on, and then starts blinking, when all the warning lights are off, Low Range still blinks and goes away after 4 seconds. Its as if i press the low range button the console, thats how it flashes. What could be the problem?

Well if u put it in N and push the switch does it engage? If so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Put it in neutral and cycle the low range switch 5 times. This will resynchronize the transfer case motor. The blinking should stop after you do this. If it continues to blink, there may be a problem with the low-range motor.

If you have warranty take it back to teh dealer. I have the same problem and my SA replace the transfer case motor for me. At the time of this service my vehicle is less then year of ownership and under 10,000 miles.
