2000 M320 Transmission shifter issue
Hi, just replaced the shifter assembly due to a water ingress and it not shifting out of low gear (2nd time ) However now you cant shift it out of park unless I do the pencil trick, but its shifting through the gears fine once its out of park. My OBD2 reader is bringing up "The Brake Signal from Control Unit N47 (traction Systems Control Unit) is not available on the CAN bus". I suspected brake switch , but brake lights work , so imagine its ok...so I'm stumped ... any ideas? TIA
