Is anyone running Castrol Syntec in their ML?

Yes, 5W-50 since they switched to synthetic at the dealer and now DIY @ 56,000 miles with no problems.

yep, dealer and independent has been using Castrol Syn since we've gotten the car, no probs (except for the occasional quicker burning of oil )
