Take a few photos of the fan module and post them.

Yes, if your scanner is capable of doing so.

lets say car is cold, i came and started and let it idle, how long does it take to fan to start blowing, or what temperature?
Funny thing, I got another ML55AMG yesterday and it does the same thing. Maybe everything is good?!
I just dont want to overheat the engine, If i knew what temperature it kicks in ill wait longer
Thanks

You originally stated that your fan does not come on EVER. You just do not believe that you need a new fan.

If you start the eng. and the eng. temp. reaches 90C and the fan does not come on you need a new fan.

If you then select A/C and the fan does not come on, you definitely need a new fan.

No,I did say fan works for about 10 to 20 sec if i select A/C and mentioned that i cant charge the A/C refrigerant for some odd reason.
And mentioned that i had another fan and id did the same thing when hooked it up. Sold that fan on ebay and buyer confirmed its working fine for him.
If it was the fan i wouldn't have a problem buying another one.
Will try to let car heat up pass 90c tomorrow and see if it will kick in. I thought that fan should kick in at 87c when thermostat opens up.
Thanks

Just started it let it run, sure enough when it got to 90c it kicked on i feel sooo stupid. i guess i didnt wait long enough for it to kick on because i didnt wanted to overheat. so i must've shut off the car right before it had to turn on

The A/C Compressor will not activate if the is not enough refrigerant.

Hi mr Dundee, got my AC going. Had 2 problems. One was expansion valve was bad didn't let me fill up refrigerant, and was blowing hot air in the cabin, bad actuator motor for the flap. Got it ordered, should be in few days, but i manually turn the flap and i had nice cold air, and after i replaced the expansion valve i filled up refrigerant no problem.
