I was changing the switch for the Low Range and Fog Lights with the engine running. Had the AC on because its 95 outside and hotter in the car. I pulled out the radio, popped off the trim, and removed the switch.
As soon as I unplugged the harness for the switch, the AC started blowing warm air. I installed the new switch, put everything back together and checked the fuses which were all good. Aside from being an idiot and doing this with the engine running, What did I do? I didn't think this switch has anything to do with the AC system. Your help is very much appreciated. Its supposed to be 107 on Saturday.

You must now remove everything again and make sure that the WHITE corrugated hose is connected to the back of the small grille (green arrow).

I made sure the white corrugated hose was attached before I put everything back together. What does the switch have to do with the AC system?
