ML430 ECU wiring diagram?
Hi all, I'm fitting an M113 4.3L from an ML430 into a W108, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a wiring diagram. I have one for the ML320 but I'm not confident it's the same ECU pinout. Can anyone assist?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Out Of Control!!
I will look later, however how are you ever going to start the car with and ECU that has an embedded VIN from a car that you don't know---you are crazy and will have to start with a virginized VIN then flash the blank ECU with the applicable software----you better learn a hell of allot more before you start this pipe dream or have a SL of money to throw away!!

Well, that's a surprisingly salty response to a simple request! That's a whole lot of assumption you got going on there buddy.
All you have to do is ask.
I'll probably be able to pull the VIN from the current ECU with the OBDII code reader - I haven't had the time. I need to set it all up on the bench then pack it away again each time I mess with it.
I have a borrowed MB Star diagnostic tool with developer mode and an emulator chip for the immobiliser. I have comms to the ECU as the OBDII pinout seems consistent with the M112 diagram, but I'm suspicious on a lot of the pinout, and I don't have the body harness (or car FYI) to backtrack the wiring.
Will it work? My research says yes but it still requires the EEPROM to be removed and changed - I know the settings (in theory) but I'm relying on a friend with a chip reader and he's in a different city so it all takes time.
So moving on, so that I can ensure I am able to wire it in correctly once all that is done, I need a diagram I can rely on. It's a fun project and I'm enjoying the research and the challenge but at the end of the day if it doesn't work, or I can't get support from the MB community where needed I'll bin the Bosch and go with a Haltech/Adaptronic et al.
I see you run a business doing coding/chip flashing, so I'm guessing you're the only drywall guy in town and I better send you the ECU?
