2000 ml 320 door locking problem
Hi everybody, after I got my ml 320 back from mechanic (for battery drain problems), drivers door started machine gunning. At first when using fob to lock car, doors would not lock, had manually lock drivers door with key and fob wouldn't unlock either. Later notice when opening passengers door with key all doors unlocked so tried re-locking passenger door with key and all doors locked. Worked this way for 3 days then, when taking off doors locked but drivers door machine gunned and would not lock unless I manually push down stem. Now days later if I manually lock drivers door when driving away in about 15-20 seconds all doors machine gun and unlock! Finally when getting out of car, manually locking drivers door and walking away all doors machine gun and unlock!
Where I stand now is I have to manually lock passenger door and leave drivers door unlocked! Could one of the locking relays be bad in the fuse box? Anyone have this strange problem and have a solution? I know to work on battery drain problem, mechanic was removing different fuses to try and find solution to battery drain problem
Thanks in advance!

This all sounds familiar. Sounds like your DS front door actuator is the problem. Machine gunning. Either replace the damaged door actuator or repair it.
Do a search here on the forum, plenty of information on how-to
There is also a fix available. Do a search on youtube; parts can be purchased on fleabay

There is something simpler. In all probability the spring in the door lock has broken and can be replaced/repaired. Order the springs first. Then remove the door lock actuator and follow the instructions in the video.
Of course everything depends on you mechanical abilities. If the spring is not broken, then the entire door lock must be replaced.
