Car shaking when turn-on or turn-off in uphill parking

Hello everyone , I have a ML 270 cdi (2001) and I am experiencing a car shaking inside (in the steering wheel and dashboard) when I turn on the engine or turn off the engine only when the car is standing in the uphill like in the photo below . If the car is in the opposite direction (downhill) the shaking is eleminated completely and the vibration in the steereing also. The engine mounts are new. I was assuming if there is any part of steering wheel block that can create a connection with any part of the engine compartment when car is in uphill ? For exmaple the shock absorbers, or steering knuckle, or transmission . Because it feels that the shaking of the engine in the turn on and off procces (that is normal of course) is transmitted inside the cabin from a connection that is created between engine and another part (that I am trying to find) in the uphill position of the car. Please help me .Please help me to find my problem.

There must be something inside the engine compartment at the firewall side making contact with the firewall?
Doesnt seem like it would be motor or tranny mounts based on your description.

Agreed. THis is sort of impossible to diagnose as it could be a number of loose components. Did you inspect the steering rack and that area? I know its not super convenient to access.

Man it blows my mind that people actually use this vehicle for its intended purpose - off road! Where do you live? Here in the States everyone has vehicles like this for no other reason but to drive it on a road and look good carry your kids and dog around in it
