Installing Subs-Void Warranty?

does installing subs in a leased car void the warranty? what cant be done to a car that would void the warranty? just wondering because i want to get subs in my car, and maybe dvd, and streetglow under car lights... thanks

yes it will void your audio warrenty. just like what happened to me. but the only thing u can do without voiding the warrenty is maybe getting rims. thats about it.

If the car is leased from MBCC, at time of turn in assuming you do not purchase you will be charged for returning the car back to original condition and removing any non MB accessories per your contract. Other leasing companies have similar policies

so lets say i got subs installed, thats it just subs, a box and an amp. I take it in to get serviced, would i need to take it out, or would the not care as long as i returned it in its original condition?

As long as you return the leased car back in the original OEM parts, they cannot do anything to you. BUT, sometimes, say you do something cool to your car, a lot of times, the dealer will not care. My X is leased and I've modified it and my dealer said it shouldn't be a problem. All my mods can be replaced with the original OEM parts (I have them stored in the garage) so when I return it, I just put them back on. BUT, my painted trims...well, you can't replace that. Hehe.
