Good luck!
Major never claimed the aftermarket switches are worse than the OEMs. He said nothing about it, lol. And we know the OEMs don't last long at all.

I think you're making some kind of error in reasoning, an appeal to authority and genetic fallacy. In fact you made the appeal so bad you used it to rationalize something Maj never even said. Lmao. Likely the result of at least one common cognitive bias.

And by the way I pointed to at least two forms of evidence.

I've replaced the sensor. The lights stay on permanently now, as if there's no sensor. The diagnostic tool keeps on popping back up the left front speed sensor even after erasing it.
I checked the wiring that goes to the sensor and it reads 2.3V/2.4V....is that normal?

Where did you buy the sensor, provide the link?

Did you have any difficulty removing or installing the sensor?

What is your full vin#?

The old sensor came out easily, just 1 bolt to undo. For the rest it didn't look old or worn. I still have it if you want me to post a pic of it?

I attached a screenshot from the ad I bought the sensor on eBay. I didn't get to find a link, sorry...

The VIN number is:
WDC1631542A243444

For the time being, UPDATE YOUR PROFILE in USER CP to include where you live. This will show that you have right hand drive.

You must have this sensor part number as per your vin#. Take note that these sensors must be selected by vin#., not just anyone that fits.

I updated my profile.

In the description of the article I bought on eBay it shows the OE number: (see attached pic) A1635421818. That's where probably the problem is. Is this article for a left-hand driven truck?

The 163 542 18 18 sensor is for your veh. after vin #371935 (the last 6 numbers of your vin#) which does not apply to you. Your vin# is before.

All good then I suppose, because I ordered a new one, article number: 163 540 07 17
Beginning next week I'll receive it and I'll install it asap.

Next time you have a problem, ask the forum first before buying parts.

Yes, I know 😳. I'm too impulsive at times. This forum is such a goldmine, it's amazing. Thanks again !
