Help!!!! Radio Locked
I have a 2001 ML500. I had to have the LCD Screen of my radio changed. Well the work is done. But now I am locked out of the radio. I bought this car used; the code I was told to use does not work. Each time I try to get into it it lockS me out longer. Does anyone have any experience with this? It is an alpine radio. Is there some way to reset it?

you have more than one issue. first, why do you have an alpine radio and asking us for radio code help?
and most importantly, there is no such thing as a 2001 ml 500. either youre lying, or someone ripped you off.

Hmm, well assuming you have either an '02-'04 ML500 or an earlier 320 or 430, or a current 350 (as there was no 2001 ML500), and that by "Alpine radio," you mean the stock Mercedes MCS system, which is made by Alpine, your dealer should be able to fix it.
Just drop it off for them to do some other work on it (don't mention this issue), and they'll probably fix it along the way.

There was a 2001 ML500 outside of the USA, in many countries the model year is the date of manufacture of the car and not the "model year".
Also, Alpine radio could be an Audio 30 or Audio 10. Again outside of the USA, the MCS is not fitted.
