Rear bumper support

Okay, we all know parallel parking sucks, but this morning when I went out to my car, someone must've hit me. My back bumper is flush with the quarter panels in the corner, but wrapping around the car and to the back tailgate there is about a 3/4" gap. I drove by a bodyshop this morning and they said they would need to take off the bumper and bend some piece back with a machine. $400.00.

Is there any easier way? I am pretty good with my hands so I wouldn't mind doing it myself, just wondering if it is even possible.

Thanks.

Did it just move your bumper over? If it did then loosen the four screws under the three plastic covers on the bumper and move it to where you want it. If it did more damage than that then remove the four screws and then remove the bumper, that is all that holds it on, you may have to unplug the main ecall antanna and parktronics connection if you have these options, and then you can see what real damage has been done. There is a cage looking peace that can be replaced or you could bend it yourself but if the frame is bent then you need to have a pro fix that. I hope this helps Autogunner.
