2015 ML350 How to retract parking brake
MD wants $900.00 USD to replace just the rear and I can buy the OEM parts from the dealer and save almost $400.00.
Also, anyone know where else I can buy OEM pads and Rotors?

Use 13 mm socket remove retaining bolt
push out pins with a punch
Pads should pull out easily... If not.. I used a flat blade screwdriver to gently push them into the caliper.
The rear pads require putting the car into pad service mode as described here:
1. Turn the ignition to Position 1.
2. Make sure the mileage is displayed in the dash center window
3. Don't wait very long before accomplishing the next step: Push the far right "telephone accept call" button on the steering wheel, then push the "OK" button on the left and hold both down for 5 seconds or so.
4. The workshop menu should appear.
5. Scroll down to "Pad replacement" and push OK.
6. Choose OK for "Moving to fitting position"

This will move the cylinder in the caliper far enough back to replace the pads...
wheel lug nut torque is 110 lbft
