300D, 300TE, ML320 & 350
Outside temp instrument light inop.
Outside temp instrument light inop. All other inst. lights fine. Outside temp instrument indicates correctly but can't see without flashlight. Thanks!

Welcome ercoupe843,

Are you sure the temp displays correctly?
Put a hair dryer to the temp sensor (located in the lower grille portion of the bumper) and see if the temp display changes. If not - time for a replacement.
OR
perhaps bad pixels.

Then it looks like the pixels are dead. I don't recall that you can replace that specific gauge itself alone.
I recall in past others inquiring on the same issue.
You may wish to do search on the forum to see what has been reported and discussed.
