2003 ml350
can anyone please help.my wifes mercedes ml350 was stolen .we recovered the car without the key. I called mercedes benz of beverly hills and was told they only work on carsmade in 2005 or newer.i was told my vehicle is considered obsolete.my question is can a new key be cut and programmed without taking it to a dealer.

You do not have to bring the veh. to the dealer to get, what is called a spare key, in your case you need two. Key fobs are no longer made as of Oct. 2016.
The registered owner must appear at a dealer with license, registration and proof of ownership. Order two keys and it will take 3-5 days to arrive and again the registered owner must appear and sign for them. Keys are considered Theft-Relevant Parts.
These spare keys will only manually open (key inserted in door lock) the door and start the eng. There will no longer be anti theft protection.

also looking for +1 key and a remote start option
I was told by the dealer that they no longer provide a complete key/entry fab for 2003 ml350, im looking for a reasonable way to produce a second key for myself because I only have one. I know eventually ill leave it inside and ill either lock myself out, or the 40 sec auto lock will.
Im also looking for a remote start that will work with this vehicle.
