I don't have the exact numbers, but I've got over $15,000 on my ML430 within the 4 year/50,000 miles which is up now.

Merc dealers are all linked by computer. Even though I live in Switzerland, when I go back to the UK I have checked what the swiss dealer has done to my truck by giving the chasis number to the dealer ( a mate of mine). This system (for most car dealers) has been around for a while.
When I needed to drive back to the UK (drive on the left). I checked with MB Holland (long story) as I needed to know how to blank my Xenon lights so I don't blind the other English Drivers. By giving my chasis number she was able to tell me that ther Xenon lights had the possibility to be realigned by flicking a lever on the back of the lights!!! All this from a chasis number!

If you want a warranty cost winner I may be it. Not on my '03 ML350 but on the Range Rover I traded in for it!!!! The RR spent more time in the shop than on the road!

No kidding! That RR leaked oil from places that didn't even have oil in them. The electrical system was a joke. It did have awsome off road capability but it had no "off service lift" capability! My wife and I love the ML.
