Power steering
Hello, When I started my 2002 ml270cdi yesterday I heard a squeak which I think was the accessories belt slipping. I then tried to turn the steering wheel and found that it was nearly impossible. Any help would be appreciated.

- you provide some background history of your issue and what checks/ investigation/ work you have already performed.
- you are near your vehicle. You in the UK and your w163 in Spain isnt helpful to anyone.

That is not what I asked.
I simply asked/suggested, "...you provide some background history of your issue and what checks/ investigation/ work you have already performed."
How do any members know what you have checked or not checked already, as in the example of Dundee asking you if you had checked the fluid level, the first simple task to look into.
You did not even mention that you already performed this simple task prior to asking for assistance, did you....

did you actually investigate it! (I'm presuming no, since you're not anywhere near your suv)
AND since you are not anywhere near your vehicle to follow thru on any advice, how does that assist you at this point?
With your attitude, perhaps go LEARN how-to use the search engine here or on google.
I've already found similar issues on the net pertaining to your issue, but hey, no point in providing them at this point.
