Road trip!!!
Going on a nice looooong trip in the ML500. Leaving Saturday, gonna from NC to several places in KS and then to CO. Over 3000 miles in 2 weeks. Sounds like fun. I only have 3064 miles right now, I did the first oil change monday, getting a rotate and balance tomorrow. It should be interesting to see how a fully loaded ML does at high altitude and up and down mountains! I think driver fatigue will be much better in the Mercedes than what I typically drive on long trips. So you will probably hear from me till friday, then all will be silent for a while. I have never attempted a trip this long, and certainly never been in a benz for this long a duration. Taking my dad and grandfather with me. The 40% seat folded flat to the floor, and plenty of room for everyone. I have a DVD system for the backseat, DVD nav for me, and a CD changer full of road trip music. Gonna take 40 for a while then get 70 the rest of the way. I borrowed a Valentine one to make a little time when I am able. Any tips???
