02 Sensor Codes

Did a search but could not find which sensors need to be replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Codes:
P0136- Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heater circuit error
P0141- Bank 1 Sensor 2 Circuit Error

Also, is this a DIY if you have access to a lift? I would like to do this and add a how-to if one is not already done.

Thanks

Russell

I will try to look the errors up tomarrow and let you know, and also if it is the front ones before the cats they are harder to change, but the back ones are easy, you dont even need a lift as long as your belly isn't to big.LOL. So hopefully it is the backs but I will let you know. Autogunner. P.S. by looking at the errors you typed, these errors are on the same sensor each sensor has four wires, two for the sensor and two for the heater, one of your rear sensors could just be unpluged. Autogunner.

Thanks for checking that out. I did look under the car by sliding on my back and I think some $40 rhino ramps would certainly do the trick if you wanted to change out all of them, espeically for those out there that don't have access to a lift like i do Anyhow I will post pictures next time i get under there as this looks to be an easy DIY job.

These are the error codes I got P0141.9 "Lambda sensor heater after cat. on bank one P0136.16 Lambda sensor after cat bank one. I ask several tecks and they all agreed that bank one is the right side "passanger side". So your right rear sensor hopefully is your problem. Hope this helps. Autogunner.
