"donk" noise

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
"donk" noise
okay from a very slow roll, if i press the gas slightly hard (to keep it in 1st gear) to 3k rpm, and then let go of the gas... when the rpms reach 1k... there is a "donk" noise... problem? otherwise it feels smooth. tranny issues?

kinda like a buck/clunk? Sounds normal, i think you caught the trans upshifting.
