PO702 Code

PO702 Code
I had a code come up PO705 and I could not get my 2001 Ml430 out of 2nd gear. I changed out the transmission computer (I have a 2000 ML430 fpr parts) and I cleared the code and it did not come back. However, I now have a PO702 code and I still cannot get out of 2nd gear. I have had no problems up until today, I did have the AC cranked for a long time today, while driving. Could it be the battery?
Thanks

These ECM codes are only an alert that you have a Trans. problem and the you must check for codes in the Trans. module.
Did you read the codes in the Trans. Module?
How did you determine that the module should be replaced?

I have a OBD11 scanner, I decided to change out the trans module because it was an easy thing to do.
I see that I do not have any indication of what gear I am in on my dash. I do not see any leaking from the eletrical connection on the transmission, but may investigate that tomorrow and get my battery tested also. Thanks for your assistance
