Unhappy ML430 Parking Break Cable?

Hi all,

I have an ML430 and am installing the Pioneer AVIX-X1 Nav system. All is well except I dont know where to find the HandBreak\Parking Break cable that needs connecting to tell the NAV system that I am NOt driving around - until I find that cable my system will not allow me to view films etc as it thinks im in motion!!

How can I find this cable? Where is it located and what colour etc is it?

Cheers for all your help!

Shane

The parking brake is all mechanical, so I am sure you dont use any of it going to your GPS, although their is a switch that tells the car if you have the parking brake set, it is above the parking brake peddle, it has two wires going to it. If you take the closeout panel off on the side with the parking brake and look up above the peddle on the housing you will see the switch. Autogunner.
