Got my scanner, need help with codes.

Hi all,

2004 ML350 4JGAB57E64A497435 is the VIN.

I finally got my Autel 806 pro in the mail, and was able to scan for esp/abs/bas codes. Here is what it came up with.

UPDATE: After clearing codes and driving around for 30 minutes, the only fault that returned was:
C1110 - L6/2 (right front speed sensor) Line monitoring.
What is interesting is that using the live data function of my scanner, all four wheels record the same speed (including zero in park) leading me to believe the sensor is in fact working properly.

Codes before I cleared them and drove around, were -

C1212 MIL ON&Stored - Overvoltage at Terminal 30
C1185 MIL ON&Stored - A7/&b1 (BAS diaphragm travel sensor): electrical fault
C1142 MIL ON&Stored - B34 (ESP brake pressure sensor) Plausibility Error
C1111 MIL ON&Stored - L6/2 (right front speed sensor) Signal Jumps
C1352 MIL ON&Stored - B24/15 (Rotary speed and lateral acceleration sensor) Overvoltage
C1210 MIL ON&Stored - Undervoltage at Terminal 30

Keep in mind the battery was dead but later charged. I cleared the codes and will report which of them returns.

Any ideas on what I can start to look at? Thanks, Casey

Turn the ignition ON and test the BLUE wire at the rt. front sensor for 11-14.5v.

Also test connector L6/2x1 the same way.

When the wiring diagram opens, scroll down and then expand.

I tested the connector L6/2x1 as pictured and got 11.45 DCV.

I pulled out the sensor and dont see how I can test the sensor itself without destroying it, should I strip back the wiring?

Thanks, Casey

Here is some related reading for you on the non-destructive testing of the sensors.

Khomer, thanks for the reply.

I tested the sensor using the two male spades on the connecter hooked up to my multimeter (sensor end was uninstalled if it matters) for resistance and got 10.6 mOHMs. Not sure exactly what that means. My multimeter is auto-ranging.

I ordered a new ATE brand speed sensor from FCP Euro which should be here Tuesday, but im skeptical that it will fix my issue. Worth the shot for $37 I guess.

Also the ring inside the axle hub looked good, as does the wiring harness/wires that hook up to the ABS block through the drivers side wheel well.

Update:

Surprise surprise, the new sensor fixed it. I had to clear the codes with my Autel scanner, but it hasnt come back for a week. No more Christmas tree of lights. Thanks for the help all.
