1st time MB owner and post. I searched the forums and couldn't find a similar thread so here goes... I live in northern Canada and am looking to install a remote start system on my 2005 ML350 SE. Are there any current aftermarket options available? I'd have the work done by a professional. I've searched a number of remote start companies sites (e.g. Compustar, Viper, etc), but many state that they may not be available for this model and year.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be very much appreciated.

 

Be careful choosing one as it requires a lot of rewiring.

We offer a bypass module (DBW163) that can be connected to a Compustar FT7200, and you can also connect a Compustar Drone Mobile unit for smartphone control integration. I am in Alaska with a ‘05 ML350 SE am looking for remote starts, encountered the same issues. Did the suggestion to use a DBW module with the Compustar system actually work?
