I have a 2003 ML 350 - can you use a 1998 ML 320 as a parts car?

2003 ML 350
I have a 2003 ML 350 - can you use a 1998 ML 320 as a parts car?
I have a 2003 ML 350 - can I use a 1998 ML 320 as a parts car? I have a ‘98 that is broken down and a 2003 that runs.
My 2003 has issues with: Power steering pump and rack and pinyon

Timing chain (knocking)

Angle variation time shaft to crankshaft

I’m wondering is I can use my 1998 ML 320 that doesn’t run as a parts car for these issues..? Are these parts interchangeable?

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500
The rack & pinion is different between the two vehicles.

The timing chain & the P/S pump are the same between the two vehicles.
