Hope identifying noise
Always happens after vehicle has been driven and fully warmed up. I can't hear it while going down the road but when I am in drive with my foot on the brake (like in a Drive-Thru) I get this weird groaning noise.
Thanks
Engine/trans/exhaust mounts?
Power steering pump?
Accessory pulley?
Does it happen in park?
Does it happen in Drive with your foot on the brake?
Where is it coming from? Above? Below? Front? Back? Left? Right?
Use lots of words to describe.
You need to do some more diagnostic work.
Does not happen in park or neutral only when in drive and foot on the brake. Only after vehicle is warmed up. Sounds to me like it's coming from below and center, but of course because I have to have my foot on the brake to hear it I can't be sure.
I feel like it's driveline related but that's just the hunch. It goes away completely once I start moving again.
had it at the dealer for an inspection and they didn't notice anything that needed replacement other than rear springs.

Unless you have access to a professional platform lift--> ENGINE OFF, IN PARK, WHEELS CHOCKED FRONT AND REAR AT OPPOSITE DIAGONALS <--
Mine required loosening, but not removing, the exhaust pipe at the first joint behind the engine and the other mounting points and shaking the assembly making sure it was free. Make the checks hot. The exhaust system changes size and shape more than I expected. Check for worn or hardened rubber in the mounts and check body clearances, especially where the exhaust pipe goes over the rear axle.
