2005 ML350 Random Cylinder Misfires

Hello all !! This is my first post here. Thank you in advance for answering my question(s). I have a 2005 ML350 SE (W163). After filling up with gas a few weeks ago and trying to get on the parkway, I floored the gas pedal only to have the check engine light flash and the vehicle drive like ***. I was able to get it home and check the computer for codes. I had random cylinder misfires and an O2 Sensor back 1 sensor 1 code. I have replaced that O2 sensor. Taking it out for a spin after replacing the sensor, the O2 sensor codes never showed up again but I am still getting random cylinder misfires on cylinder 1,2 and 3. The computer only throws codes when the car is under load. Never happens when I rev the car in neutral or in park, only when driving it and I floor it or drive up hill. I have checked the fuel pump and pressure is good. I have not changed the spark plugs yet (that was my next step) but do you think it's possible I have a vacuum leak or pressure leak from the cylinders ? Is it worth it to waste money on trying to repair as this car has 170K miles ? Just looking for a little advise. Thank you !!! Anything else to check/look into ?

Have you filled the tank again after a few weeks ago? If so, was it at the same station?

Usually when there are multiple misfires on the same bank, it indicates that the catalytic converter is damaged causing exhaust back pressure.

I don't believe in coincidences especially since this happened to me in my former 1999 ML430. You just filled up your tank. My guess you got some water in the fuel. You could use seafoam to treat the fuel but it will take forever to get it out without dropping tank. It took me several weeks to get rid of it. Obviously misfires are not on the same bank as demonstrated in the attached photo:
