Really sharp looking, nicely done!
Are the 8000k HID the ones that come with the bi-xenon?

Factory is around 4300k, you can imagine the intensity of the 8000k...

So where to get those 8000k HID from? Just in case my factory ones die prematurely :-)

Just bear in mind that blue light has poor driving qualities. Im not so sure being seen is more important than seeing !

Looks great but I have two questions for you:

1. Why would you debadge your car?
2. Is the amp(s) and sub in the pic where they WILL be? Seems kinda worthless to put them there and ruin all the space the SUV was designed for?

1. I feel it makes the rear look a lot cleaner and more of a custom look, the tailgate was polluted with the ML320 emblem and the one from the dealer, so they had to go, still kept the Star though, thats actually drilled into the tailgate

2. My amps are already drilled into my floorboards and my subwoofer is velcroed to the carpet, I still have tons of space for the only thing i do haul in the trunk are little things like basketballs and my laundry, snowboards go up on the roof. The system takes up little space, im still able to use the cargo cover to hid the subs and gives it a more conceled look.

I got mine from a local shop near where I live called Mother's. Its basically a Japanese brand who make the bulbs, however my ballasts are from Hella. I paid $450 for the entire kit including installation. I think they are great and they get a lot of attention, people think they are my high beams and people who dont even know cars point out that my lights are blue. Even the girls comment on them. I am very happy with them.

Xenon lamp temperature

Very true. The eye is more sensitive to yellow light. The factory worked hard to warm up the color temp. because that is what works best. 8k is bling, if you ask me. Plus, in the photos, the fogs don't match!

ML320
sorry to bump an old thread, but I haven't been able to get a definite answer anywhere

ViKTORiOUS:
Did you still have the stock head unit?
if so, where did you tap the signal for the aftermarket sub/amp setup???

I really like the roof spoiler - where did you get that?

I saw another version of the spoiler which has no opening, wonder if that was OEM?

ViKTORiOUS hasn't posted since April 2010 when we was selling his ML.
His last postings before that were in 2009.
