1999 ML 320
Transmission Code
Hello , My 1999 ML320 just threw a check engine code for the transmission, The vehicle has only 117,000 miles . The code is P1778. It says Reverse I/P Circuit . Is this a major issue or just a Clear code type of issue. The car seems to run fine.

What does I/P mean?

Are you sure of that code P1778 because it is not a valid code.
