2004 W163 Interior Temp Sensor

Hello All,
I'm working on my A/C problems, found blown AUX water pump and blower fan in fuse box referred to on other threads. At this point have removed the from panel to inspect the AAC. Which looks good no burning etc.
To the point of this post. As I unplugged all the connections from the back of the AAC and panel I noticed there is no tube going to the port for the interior temp draw. (Looks like slots on the wood panel). Videos I have seen show the tube and direct to remove it to get the panel out. I have looked everywhere to see if there is one. Maybe some one removed this before and did not reattach. I have found nothing anywhere under the dash.
Question is I guess does this model year have one, 2004 ML350 Inspiration version, or is it monitored somewhere else? Or where would this tube start from where I can search for it further under the dash. Thanks for the help.

Thanks- JH

As of 2002 MLs they illiminated that tube.

The AUX Water Pump is electrilly connected to the AAC control module and whenever the pump is damaged, it damages the AAC wiring, which means no AC.

Thanks. I have that AAC module out and I see no damage as in your picture. Mine is below. I don't know if this means the problem is not related or if it could be hiding somewhere else in the AAC.
I haven't changed the temp/pressure sensor on the high side nor the compressor. It was squeaking a bit when it shut down. But that went from working one afternoon when shut off to not working next morning when car was started and I got no a/c.
I'm going to change out the AUX Pump and replace the E-Box fan motor per the post I reviewed, and then see if that has any effect. Then get back to this thread if I get no positive results.

You have to look on the other side of AAC board, as your diagram is not the same as the one I posted.

Ok I'll take a look. I thought it was the same orientation. The resistors and chips are all on one side.
